Kenton Primary School

I went to this school, and it was the worst primary school experience, from grade 1 to 4 was great, but the higher grades were terrible teachers treated you on how they felt about you and not equally, they judged you on your living conditions, always said they would deal with bullying and never did, had unqualified teachers teach us, I was sitting in the office once and heard teachers talking bad about other kids, there were more focused on you being perfect than your own grades, they would talk to you the way that you shouldn't talk to a child, assistant teachers with swear at the kids at the back, they would like to parents about certain things, personally in my opinion if you really hate your child you would send them here.

I put my boy in Kenton Primary School and it's a really good school but in Grade 7 he says that he can't focus in class and wants to get out of it. Hopefully the staff fix this problem.

First day back at school for 2022. No problem dropping off my grandchild. I was pleasantly surprised, but the nighmare was yet to come. This afternoon was total chaos. All grades were coming out at the same time. What about Covid people? The parents and the children did not follow protocol, not at all. I even observed parents without masks standing together talking. Angie Motshekga stated rotating must still be adhered with, with school children. Please, please people consider grannies and older people that must pick up children from school

My daughter was originally in a private school but when I found out I was expecting a 3rd child we were fored to take her out and go the government school route.This change ended up being the best move - what an amazing school. The principal is retiring at the end of the year. She will really be missed - Her firm and loving leadership style is what made this school what it is today.what a hands on principal and had an open door and email policy and was always available. I am truly blessed to have my daughter in this school the teachers are amazing . Not everything government is negative!! Wish I had started her at kenton primary from grade 1.
