Racism
on how a black learner was being treated unfairly to a colored girl even after the girl used a very racist remark towards her, and many incidents like this has happen before. No learner deserves to mistreated at her own school where she was supposed to feel welcome .
Wittebome High school
Wittebome needs to address the racist incidents and derogatory language targeting black students. The matters are being handled with racism and injustice. This is a terrible high school
The inequality black learners have to face
It saddens me to see that black learners have to face inequality from their teachers who are supposed to them then feel safe, no learner deserves to feel like their feelings is not important because they know their concern won’t be heard out by teachers.I urge the school to take this into deep consideration and find a way to make all learners feel valued and respected, because no learner deserves to feel “different” in their own school.
School disregarding a the learn op
Absolutely terrible and racist. An incident occurred today between two girls at school , one black and one coloured. The black girls hair was ripped off her scalp from the root.The teacher and principal (who are also coloured) disregarded her side of the story not even giving her a chance to explain even though the coloured said the “k” word and no one is addressing the issue. They are extremly racist and I wouldn’t be surprised if the black girl is pressing charges for hate speech and assault.
Concern for Fairness and Respect at school
As a parent, I am deeply concerned by what I heard happened to another black student. I am disappointed that school leaders allow school learners to say harmful language toward black students and black students not allowed to defend themselves.Our children deserve fairness, respect, and real accountability.
Casual injustice and racism
Wittebome high is a terrible school. School matters are being handled with casual injustice and racism. School learners are using deragatory terms targeting black students and it is not being handled rightfully.
Wittebome is a bad school and here is why
Wittebome high is not a really good school all the teachers are leaving because of children's bad behaviour the kids do not listen they are always bunking classes and they never listen to teachers they are also children in class who misbehave and distract learners from learning in class which causes teachers to stop their lessons just to talk to those bad children and they still don't listen and it has an effect on us giving us bad report cards we are losing teachers one by one I honestly wouldn't recommend that you take your kid to Wittebome high and this is my honest opinion I'm currently in grade 8 learning at this school but I will be transferring next year to a school that provides better education they don't even have fun activities they only have soccer and netball no PE or or civvies so please don't bring your kids to Wittebome it's not a good school they provide poor education hopefully one day the school changes

I love this school, the teachers are extremely invested into making sure you get the best quality education to be certain that you will academically well.
