Waterkloof Primary School

The teachers here are just horrible,i went to this school last year.The teachers really didn't like any of us at all.Most teachers also favoured the academics and ESPECIALLY the boys.There was a time in grade 6 2023,when they made all the girls who's hair was longer than their collar bone cut their braids INSIDE the bathroom during school hours, made them wipe off their edges and constantly talked about how its ok for 'other' kids to have their natural hair in bc 'its the way they are'.There was a time in grade 6 when an Afrikaans teacher who always complained about my handwriting even though others' was horrendous ,she once yelled at me one day saying ,ill catch flies if I leave my mouth open like a animal.She ALWAYS favoured the boys.Some NEVER did their workalike NEVER and she never minded.A teacher and an HOD in grade 7 always laughed and brought up how some kids failed grade 8 and grade 7,this one time the teacher came to the hod and laughed out loud and said"SHE NEVER MADE IT".they really abused us mentally and emotionally.There was a time where they said our natural hair is not allowed BY ANY MEANS to block the view ,or be too big. and fluffy.They even said we cannot slick our hair with hair gel.It was really bad.In their Thursday afternoon meetings, there was a time when I was walking by by the bathroom and the classroom they were in and they were talking about how bad a learner smells they dont even. want to teach.They said were not allowed to stand up at break.The absolutely favoured academics.They would literally stop the whole class to have a separate conversation with an academic.Thy sent them everywhere and they could get away with everything.Even if academics were supposed to get a disciplinary they would always defend them saying it wasn't possible that they would do that.The
re was a group of boys who did drugs there and they never got expelled because PARTICULAR the teachers favoured the boys.There was even a time when I was cheering as a cheerleader for my house, and a certain teacher told me to stop cheering.Like what 😭.But yeah ur child will get mentally and emotionally tortured here,they lie about high school, its even better than WPS(DONT TAKE THEM THERE,IM A VICTIM TOO,HEAR MY VOICE).I REST MY CASE 🤭👩🏾‍🦱🎀

I am currently going to this school. I enjoy it but some of the teachers mainly the HOD treated us like we live in a prison or concentration camp. I hate some days because we have to walk in single file lines and not say a word or we would be punished. The teachers seem like they enjoy punishment us and if one it something wrong the others would be punished (group punishment). I have sat in the past term 5-7 times of break dention because one child goofted off and the amount of respect from the teachers to students is pure trash do not get me wrong some of the teachers do amazing work and are the best for their jobs others belong in a prison or psychiatric ward because they are crazy .I would maybe recomend.

I have a child already registered in Waterkloof primary school doing Grade4 ,i have done an application online however My child was placed in a school that is different from the one of his siblings- We have no option to decline the offer as its automated and also we are advised to at least apply in three schools, just to follow the rules I registered two more schools closer to home , I have met all criteria used to get my child place child at a school. My workplace is 4km way from school, my child has a sibling at the school, also my home address is not 30km away from the school. As a single parent I find myself in a dilemma as I will not be able to transport both kids to different school AND fetch them at the same time- all the login times are the same, it would have been easier if they were all placed in the same school. The department of Education is sending me back to the school and the school is referring me to the Department, I feel frustrated, the Department is making it difficult to assist us, especially us from single parented households. I'm Desperate and IM UNHAPPY, both my children need to be placed in the same school to avoid all this frustration. PLEASE HEAR ME OUT
