Vuwani Secondary School

This is a horrible school I literally wouldn't recommend your child to go ,it will mentally and physically drain drain your .the school doesn't even take bullying as serious as the education.there is no equality between boys and girls regarding on the rules ,girls are usually the ones to get punishment regarding the hair and not boys .the school is ao obsessed with money to the point they make unnecessary money requirements and to make sure they get the money ,the principle will threaten you with "your child won't write exams unless you pay" SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND .the principal is often hard headed and doesn't care or bother to listens to both sides of the story even when you got prove ,you who has not done anything will get punished for something you have not done and if your child feels like changing the school pls do and find them another school that BETTER!!

There are pupils at Vuwani Secondary School in Tshiawelo, Soweto who are searching other pupils' bags to steal money for lunch and transport. On Friday the 24th of January 2025 my cousin's daughter went to the bathroom leaving her school bag in the classroom. She noticed after school that her phone (was supposed to be taken to phone repairs on her way back home) and money was missing and she was supposed to take a taxi home to Protea Glen Ext.12. Inside the phone pouch were also a Smart ID. She was forced to walk 1hr 23mins from Tshiawelo to Protea Glen Ext. 12. On Monday the 27th of January 2025 her bag was again searched whereby transport fee and lunch money was stolen. She was forced to walk 1hr 23 mins again back home. I would like the school management to please investigate this because this is some sort of school bullying. Some children will end up committing suicide due to this.

The school is horrible ,no facilities no nothing .Most learners are either stoners or pregnant. I recommend going to another school.
