Horrible Umtata High School
Umtata High School is a good school but has its flaws. Majority of teachers are well trained with some lacking the qualities of teaching at that level. The school lacks good sporting facilities with most under par and needing to be updated. The special classrooms are all in horrid conditions. Science labs are old, I.T lab is like a container. The only good update has been the smart boards which give the learners more enthusiasm to learn. The principal is illiterate. The school is hung up on old traditions which are out of date and need to be modernized. The rules are not modern. They rules are old and still discriminate non-whites. Quite pathetic in many areas. The current state of the school is a real disappointment to the schools history.
