Umbilo Secondary School

Our school is not the best school. It is okay. But we do not have alot of nice teachers anymore. The teachers in umbilo Secondary school don't even care about students. But again it's not all the teachers and always shouting at children and being mean towards them doesn't help it just makes us hate school and not wanting to be there. If our hair is not tyed up we get shouted at get sent home or what ever what does our hair have to do with education we miss out a lesson of work or even a full day of work just because we didn't have our hairs tyed or boys hairs are not cut. Boy don't wear a tye or don't have on a specific belt on they must go home. If you don't have a badge it's a problem. Teachers are either not hard enough to control their learners or they are to hard and children dispite them. Teachers are also not allowed to lock their class doors and yet I've been in a teachers class where she locked the door. To lock learners out and I think they should be punished for coming late not be locked out and or us locked in even though it's with the teacher. Our principal is always pulling her face and always mean to everyone only nice to who she wants to be nice to even though I've never did nothing to her she's never not once liked me and everytime she saw me if not me just walking pass her she always had something to say about me 🙄bit never the less that's our school. I also blame the children in our school and their parents for the behavior. But then also if children fight they get suspended for about a week come back and it happens again and the cycle continues I mean the child is a problem and endangering children's lives so why keep bringing them back same with the children that smoke cigarettes and dagga in school. Ive seen it myself and I've seen teachers miss it. They just need more help around the school in order for our school to be better. I've been in a class where a learner and teacher have had a fight where the learner wanted to pull out a sciccors for a teacher and the teacher tried to be brave and that's just not exciting or something nice to see. It is my last year in school so yea.
