Worst School to send your children to
Worst school ever, Teachers are racist and do not care for the students well being. There are there to insult the students instead of teaching them discipline the correct way.
Trying to get a report
Take a whole week to get no results. Just to get a report it's a hassle. This school is pathetic, staff is incompetent and teachers swear the students.

As a 2020 matriculant during covid19. I'd like to say. Kubi. Ku tense. It's very hectic. Maar sizothini.
The place I call home
The school is not the best but gives those who attend both academic education and everything to know about life. I am currently a grade eleven learner at the school and most would not second this but I do not regret attending here. I have met a lot of people, many different personalities as well as lovely teachers (not so nice at times) but I love the school.
THE HILL HIGH
I'm recently in Grade 12 and for the past years of being in The hill high school i have experienced alot of difficulties and rough times but most importantly i also grabbed some life lessons and great memorable memories.The hill high has its pron cons some of which you get used too as you level up in your grades.Theres alot of supportive teachers who work hard and try their best to make sure every students achieves his/her best.And sports ,well i cannot lie but to say the Hill is the best in sports.From soccer to basketball to netball to athletics to ruby which only
got established this year.We also have Drama,debate and chess.In these past years of being in The hill i have meet alot great motivational speakers who have encouraged us to keep our heads up high.and they helped alot because they were moments i felt like giving up on school, but guest speakers revived me back up.And now I'm in grade 12 ,i have gained alot of knowledge and i have even got the position of becoming a representative council leader of the school which is a dream come true.Cause it really great to see myself and my fellow other concil leader wearing a different blazer from all the other learners in the school.And i would like to conclude by saying The hill has its uniqueness when its comes to religion ,culture and race.Theres prayer classes during break and i have never seen a single person judge someones religon or race.Thank you And thats all i can say about my School The Hill high.

It gets worse...
The Hill has so many divest cultures but mainly celebrates South African culture. Teachers are from different countries too. The school has so much going on. From students getting 80% average in all their subjects to drugs being distributed at school. Teachers do try to be rid of the drugs and illegal substances but that gets in the way of actual teaching. There is only so much a teacher can do in 8 hours of school. The school has not been renovated and only lets one toilet per gender to be available which is near the office and nearly half way across the school for some classes. While there are about 3 other toilets available. The library has not been used in years. Matriculants run around the school during substitution instead of studying. Gym hall can be used for indoor basketball but instead it was used for substitution or punishment during exams. Swimming pool area has become an off limits area. It’s a dry swamp like area. There is no tuck shop! Students sell food at break. Bullying is biased. Will only get “involved” if parents are around. Some teachers practice male supremacy. This school was great a long time ago. Way before I joined The Hill “family”. Hopefully it’s greatness will return.
