Stellenbosch Waldorf School

My child is flourishing at this school! We’ve been here for almost four years and my child comes home everyday with a smile on his face. With it’s child- centered approach to teaching and learning, developing the whole child using their hands and minds and hearts, it is truly an ideal place for children to learn and grow. The teachers and staff are kind and caring and the community of like-minded people is just amazing. Being out in the fresh air and in a natural environment is very nurturing too. .Bad experience,very good at selling the offering and processes and policies. Have not seen one to date and certainly not following a protocol that is inclusive of children nit happy with teacher. As in any corporate business they protect themselves not the children.

We are so happy at Stellenbosch Waldorf School! This is our fifth year at the school and my daughter loves going to school every single day. We love that it’s a community school, where parents are asked to get involved. The holistic Waldorf curriculum is taught beautifully, and my child is thriving academically, emotionally and physically - thanks to the teachers and staff of SWS.

The way Waldorf approaches teaching is unique and makes sense. It’s really unfortunate that they don’t take bullying seriously here. Despite management professing to have strict policies and procedures in place regarding bullying, it seems to all be lip-service. Expect yourself and your child to be victimised in subtle ways should you be vocal about your concerns. The lack of compassion from them in this situation was astounding.
