Despicable and disappointing behaviour and treatment
My grandson attends this school Grade 1. He is on the autism spectrum and in his application to is was made clear and documents submitted. My daughter just informed me that he had a very traumatic experience where the teacher was punishing him for not completing a class assignment. He was made to watch other kids play and even though he cried and said sorry to the teacher, she still did not budge. I can only imagine the dialogue that was happening at that stage between this teacher and this poor 6 year old child. Definitely busy taking further steps but thus far the principal has not accepted any calls , or returned calls. This is despicable behaviour for an institution that we entrust our kids in, a supposed safe environment and an extension to our house. Busy doing damage control now with specialists and hoping it can improve as soon as possible.

Not a pleased parent
The school is more concerned about their image then the progress of the learners. Teachers are bossy, traditional style of teaching and they think that they are controlling your child's destiny. As a parent, I will not recommend the school to anyone that wants their child to intergrade easily. Learners are placed on hierarchies and weaker learners will never excel in such an environment. BAD, BAD, BAD IN MY OPINION!!

Lack of ocmmunication/Disorganized school
My child is in Grade 1, We choose Seamount over Milnerton Primary. We just attended school sports this last Saturday which why this review was triggered. Prize giving ceremony- Only 1 parent to attend( how on earth is this even a request for a parents to choose who would like to attend) Plan better and accommodate for everyone. Teachers are not responsive on APPs and chats, no progress updates or concerns about the child's performance you are only notified when the child gets the end of tern report, which by then is to late. School sports- No shade provided for children to sit, no music at all. Parents sat there biting there fingers because everything was so disorganized. Long queues for food. No sports itinerary for races???? If your not going to do something properly do not do it at all. Time is precious for us parents. On running was part of their sports. School is not able to accommodate children with different sport. Aftercare no completing homework with children> they do not do as they say.

Looking for to 2022
Gill was really helpful and made the admission process a breeze. Extremely friendly and organised school. Looking forward to the journey in 2022.

Seamount Primary
Hi we are a Afrikaans family from the Eastern Cape and Seamount Primary was the only school that made a place for our daughter in the 3 term of 2019.The Head Master and teacher greet us with opened arms. The school tested our daughter before starting school, to know exactly were she will need help, they help her with English and Maths from day one,we are so blessed to say after the first gr4 term her grades are above 80%. Seamount Primary in Milnerton are amazing
