Really appalling that the school does not have a zero tolerance on bullying. The policy is there but how are they implementing it to ensure that kids aren’t being bullied? Not happy about that social aspect of the school and sad to hear that some teachers also partake in said bullying. How can you expect kids to speak up if victimisation is from the ground up. My child says there’s a running motto amongst the bullies and their victims, “snitches get stitches”, hence the lack of reporting. The school needs to look into this and have proper reporting structures for victimised children. Victimised by both teachers and fellow learners. What do you mean a child can decide to steal another child’s lunch or threaten them in a manner that would warrant adult intervention but because of the lack of support, some children live in these torturous circumstances and silently endure them. Truly unacceptable.

Exceptionally rude and dismissive experience with the reception/admin staff. The interaction was impolite and disheartening, especially as reception is typically the first point of contact and creates the initial impression of the school. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poorly on the institution’s professionalism and welcoming environment.

Awesome school, friendly staff right from receptionist to security. Outstanding ITC hub. Latest technology has been incorporated into curriculum- I was amazed to see learners using Chrome books. Clean and welcoming environment. Well done to SGB and Schoool Management for keeping a GDE school on these high standards ?
