Sastri College

When i was at the orientation day the school honestly looked really nice and clean. The teachers and staff were all very respectful and welcoming. My parent and I had a meeting with the principal before I was accepted into the school and he told us that the school is one of the best, cleanest and that alot of kids were wanting to be accepted into the school. I felt so lucky because I thought that this would mean its a really good school. NOT TRUE AT ALL!! The teachers and security walk around the school thinking that we are below them. I was honestly shocked to see how the student were treated here by the staff members. Teachers swear and belittle student for just existing. The teachers are very disrespectful and not at all how they seemed at the orientation day. The treat us student as if we are animals or bugs that they can walk all over and no matter how many complaints u send to the office about certain teachers behavior in class, the principal ignores it. They staff members believe that no matter how badly they treat us we should worship the ground they walk on. Some teachers don't teach and just sit on their phone all period, yet we are expected to obtain high marks? NONSENSE! When kids report a teacher the staff at the office show it to that teacher and tells them who wrote it so they have a reason to degrade and humiliated us. At the orientation day the school looked super clean and neat but now I know that they only showed us the front of the school and not the disgusting classes at the back. It sinks off sewage everywhere and there is so much graffiti! The school takes our school fees and wastes it on air-conditioning in the front of the school so they look good but they should be using that money to fix all the broken windows in the classes, the school is so dirty it looks abandoned. They also waste our money on building gates all around the school that are locked 24/7 and students are not allowed to pass even to go to the office! It creates a feeling of being in a prison except i can say confidently that a prison is surely better! The toilets are so disgusting, its smell of pee and excretion and yet the cleaners never clean. The toilets are also locked all the time with no guards outside so the learners are not able to use the bathroom. The security guards walk around with other guards and gossip with the learners about other students leading to rumors being spread and yet again the school sweeps it under the rug. The guards are very rude to the students, they shove students and insult them yet we get into trouble for standing up for ourselves? The tuckshop is horrible. They overcharge students for disgusting food. There are no lines so the learners push and shove to buy stuff. Alot of the girls skirts have been lifted up and boys use the tuckshop as an excuse to push themselves up against gurl inappropriately. Students have written reports and begged the school to create order at the tuckshop for years yet they are too lazy to do anything about it. Students are not treated like humans at Sastri College and they are very good at hiding it. Teachers are constantly talking bad about other teachers or staff members. I have spoken to lot of teachers who regret coming to work at this school and I also regret coming to learn at this school. When our parents complain to the school about how we are treated they manipulate and lie to our parents, telling them that we are making up stories to get attention. Honestly the staff here should not be allowed to talk and treat us this way. I would not recommend sending your child here. Absolutely disgusting school!

School is not a good school for academics, learners are failing, the grade average in the classes is very low, learners settle 30% as their pass, the school cannot encourage learners to aim for higher grades living them aiming for 30%

It a real racist school the teachers the security it too bad we not being treated equally the Indians have more power than the other races

Its a good school.just a few things that needs to be sorted. Academically the school has fairly good results.handling bullying and fights at school is not so good

The school has great teachers that help students perform their best and motivate the learners to never give up. Classes are not over crowded. The school has a high academic standard which learners stick to so they can perform at their very best.
