Sandown High School

as a current student the experiences that i have had so far have been bad first i seen people vaping and smoking cigarretes (the school does searches before you enter the school). Second is teachers are not really committed to teaching and some teachers hit/beat children (which is child abuse) instead of punishing learners the correct way.Third There is also not a variety of sports.Fourth there are repeaters in the grade that i`m in which i find pretty concerning.fifth people/students always bunk classes.sixth as someone who can only speak english sometimes you can`t communicate with some staff members.seventh classes are also overcrowded at one point my class had 47 people.eighth classes have broken windows.Ninth the bathrooms are disgusting there is piss/pee on the floor there is no soap to wash your hands This school is bad and i`m going to leave the school

The teachers are at that school are not committed they send school work via whatsapp during exam time especially the Maths teacher in grede 10. She loves whatsapp more than teaching in class.And we must pay school fee for such work.

After schooling there for 5 years the school had been steadily declining in behavior and academically 0

I wouldn't recommend parents to send their children here, in 2017 and 2018 we spent the whole year without a principal and even now there's no principal in 2020. The education system is weak for the money parents are paying. Its not all bad news, each school has a good and bad side of it
