Rossburgh High School

Rossburgh high school is a great school with great and still improving pass rate.Its a very secure school with camera's all around the school preventing learners from doing drugs of bullying other learners.Although it has all this qualities it focus more on the academic side leaving sports and this is a disadvantage because l believe they are many talented student in that school that can make a career in sports and putting a little focus on sports will help to decrease the abuse of drugs as student will want to focus more on the sport they are participating in.They will want to try an make something out of it and try to impress.l am am saying this from experience as if l hadn't started playing basketball at home mybe l would've been doing drugs but becouse everyday l wake up and have a purpose of what l want to achieve academically and in basketball l don't have desire to do drugs as l am always occupied and my mind is constantly thinking either about basketball or school. we use schools in durban like DHS,Glenwood,westview they focus on both academics an sports and every learner is required to have an extra curriculum activity to help keep the student out of trouble and focus on schools.Sports can also help students get schoolerships in big schools that can help them to make their dreams come true.So l believe they should be atleast some focus in sports in order to try and decrease substance abuse if

Rossburgh High School is a good school but i wouldnt recommend it to people who can afford going to a better school the academics arent bad there they are actually pretty good as for the safety i wouldnt say that its secure in school yes but outside is pretty much very bad there is constant theft in and out of school the teachers are just above average and the students tend to bully younger students about themselves and their personal lives there is alot of drug use behind closed dpors and by this i mean after school and yes in school uniform although i cant say it is necessarily done in school i can say it is done but overall i rate this school amd average for the care in which *some* of the teachers care for the students

Rossburgh high school is good school. Most teachers there work very hard to make sure that the students do well. The school itself is okay. It's a friendly and safe environment for both students and teachers. The only problem I have with the school is the extra murals and sports. There is no extra murals and the sports department is whack. They need to improve in sports and give students opportunities in other things other then academics. Rossburgh high needs to improve in other areas and introduce new things to the school so other students can see their potential. Other then that, it's a great school.

Rossburgh high school is a good school. I have enjoyed my time in school. Lots of people like to underestimate this school but in real fact, it's great. The education there is good. It's kinda fun;). I would totally recommend this school.
