Queensburgh Girls' High School

This school is not what it looks like the girls there are terrible some teachers don't teach(venter)so please rather double up your amount you going to pay and go look for a better school most of the teachers are racist

I am so disappointed with myself as a parents for not doing thorough check on the awfulness of the staff of Queensburgh Girls High School. The staff in that school does not deserve to be people that are called to serve communities, they do not deserve our tax money, they in fact deserve to be sited at home as the MRS's they are and give people who are eager for these jobs to work. The disappointing part is that the Deputy Principal is no better. What a shame of a school. SIES

it’s just terrible i’m a student over here and it’s horrific they don’t care about you or other students and the staff is beyond rude and they ignore for 10 minutes and when you call them they’re like what you want like we owe them something they’re rude and stuck up and we must feel for them because of there moods which is ridiculous the finance lady got a stick up her butt for everything giving my own parents attitude just because they wanted the receipt for my school fees to show proof of payment some teachers have no compassion for students but they’re some which are very kind which why i gave another star to the reviews but they don’t understand girls are suffering from mental health problems and they don’t care and fail girls who won’t give them a 100% pass rate

Please i repeat PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DAUGHTER TO THIS SCHOOL it is the definition of depression it is actual hell teachears are inconsiderate and racist and your daughter will end up failing and hating life as a whole just please dont. Their code of conduct when it comes to hair styles for people of colour is very inconsiderate and they believe they are being inclusive but they allow other races to do the exect thing a person of colour would and they would get away with it even with petty things like the earings you wear or length of braiding hair, to be honest i belive it used to be a nice school but its popularity has really got to their head and the students now dread every school day it used to be fun and have sports and stuff but now they use covid as an excuse while professional sports continue and other schools play sports qghs uses covid as an excuse yes school is about academics but sport,excursions and fun days are also needed as escape from stress and is also another method of learning i hope they change for their own good to keep their"good"name

The school is good academically, however the teachers and principal are extremely racist! I have experienced this first hand by many teachers with rules and regulations which exclude races and cultures from celebrating their heritage. For example, there is a rule that if you were to get braid extentions it must the same colour as your scalp however many other races dye their hair brown, black and red while teachers just compliment them. There are many other rules, like we are not allowed to wear suits for prom and other rules which don't make any sense or target individuals, I highly suggest you take your R26000 and go to any other school in the area.

I love my school. The level of education is very high and I'm very much satisfied. The teachers do their work beautifully and are very much qualified but there are some teachers who are very racist and stereotype learners.

I would not recommended the school to any one. It is not what I expected. But there are some things good about it, like their academics... But as for the way some teachers treat their students it's bad.

Their girls behavior and welcoming was excellent
