Paul Roos Gimnasium

It's a really great school but they are too strict. Like honestly way to strict and it's really unfair to the students bc we stress a lot over a lot of stuff being done bc we are scared of getting a 3 hour detention on a Friday and if it's being a few mins late for class. It would be better if the school was less strict. I have anxiety and depression bc of the school and the teachers.if it wasn't for the teachers being so strict I would have anxiety and suicide thoughts every night and day

best memories you will ever make

Great school, but extremely strict. For example, our hair is so closely monitored that we have constant inspection, punishment if it’s slightly too long. Neatness isn’t even a factor, there’s a ridiculous criteria for your hair length. Just a representation of the schools very strict nature. If you feel as if you don’t like being regulated or controlled every day of the week, and every bit of personal freedom and expression taken away - don’t apply.

Paul Roos has been an excellent learning environment for my son. It us an all round experience, with good academics and sport. The school camaraderie is wonderful and has suited my son very well
