Parktown: The best place to be
Arise!
From my experience Parktown is an institution built on tradition, brotherhood, integrity, gentlemanly conduct and as you already know the academic, cultural and sporting history is astounding. If you're looking for an environment for your son to grow as a gentleman with great backing from their teachers and peers in all aspects of life this is the right fit. The walls, speak and breed greatness.

Concerned Recent Reputation
Parktown boys in recent years has taken a major fall. Former glory turned quickly to dust. The newspaper headlines keep coming: “Sexual Harassment, Theft, Death Due To Drowning”.
A lot of eyebrows can be raised and caution should be exercised in regards to Parktown Boys.
Although the school is looking towards redemption and is on the very slow rise. I would advise against Parktown and look towards their bigger and better “All-Boys” rival schools in Johannesburg such as KES, JEPPE, St.Stithians, St.Johns, St.Benedict’s
And in Pretoria: The great Pretoria Boys High School or the private school option St.Albans

My love for Parktown Boys’ High school
As a new grade 8 in Parktown Boys’ High School the school staff and pupils have helped me with the transition to High school. In the term I’ve been there it’s been the best schooling experience of my life, I can positively say that this school within the top schools in South Africa. This school is my second home and I love the school pride that is displayed by every student and the fact that my school values respect and manors which intern produces gentlemen to go into society and truly make the world a better place

A school that becomes your home
As an Old Boy of Parktown I cannot recommend the school enough. It is an amazing institution which was my home for 5 years and from which I've gained brothers for life. The academics are unmatched when it comes to similarly priced schools and the sports are equally outstanding with the boys always having a never-say-die attitude. I entered expecting an education and left with my life changed for the better and ready to conquer the world.
