Oakdale Landbouskool

Oakdale is an extremely conservative school that is managed by old conservative, misogynistic men. It’s definitely not a safe space for student that don’t fall in the category of typical straight, white and homophobic, racist men. The school has no plans whatsoever to move forward technology wise and doesn’t leave any room for students to express their individuality. The food served to the kids at the hostel is unacceptable and rubbish. On the bright side, the new wave of young teachers coming in to the school is promising, but they still don’t have the authority to turn Oakdale in to a 21st century school. Modernising the school doesn’t necessarily mean that they will lose their traditions and values, well the good ones at least, but it has to be done in order to expose learners to the modern society.
In conclusion, if you want to go to a museum, visit Oakdale, but DO NOT expose your children to the weak, misogynistic, homophobic and racist culture grown at that institution.
