    Terrible Treatment From Administration

    I visited Newcastle High School 21 July 2026 to submit my son’s application. I was told by the administrator that it was closed. However, another parent who arrived at the same time was allowed to submit theirs. The interaction was very rude and left me feeling disregarded. I understand schools have deadlines, but the process should be fair and applied equally to everyone. I hope the administration addresses this with staff.

    Education experience at Newcastle high

    Absolutely terrible experience as an educator who is a parent at the school. Unprofessional staff and educators who are biased in their marking of papers and treatment of learners and parents. The character of the teachers are very questionable.

    School of Excellence

    Excellent school. Focussed on preparing learners for their contribution to a broader society. For the "haters" reviews below...you must have been involved in something that you were reprimanded for or dealt with severely as the Principal is a no nonsense person!

    True and honest

    Bullying is not taken seriously a two day suspension and they carry on undirected

    The Newie Fam❤️?

    This school is excellent ❤️They treat each other like real family members ?I am proud to be a Newie ?❤️There are a lot of other things besides academics ?great opportunities for children to share their talents and loving teachers??

    One of the worst in Newcastle

    A biased school . They focus more on learners who are doing sports , or in good acamedic succession . The learners who are in the middle of the chain aren't don't even exist to them, even if they're on good behaviour. They're has also been cases of subtle racism experienced by the learners.
