I am writing as a deeply concerned individual and former victim of bullying. Milnerton High claims to stand against bullying — yet multiple videos have surfaced showing students assaulting another learner and posting it on social media. That alone shows how far the culture of cruelty has gone.
Yes, you as a school say you don’t stand for bullying, but do you reprimand correctly and efficiently? Are real consequences being handed out, or are these students protected because of their social status or family background? Too often, schools take a “we’ll handle it internally” approach that leaves the victim silenced and the bullies untouched.
And this is not just a Milnerton High problem — it’s an issue in many schools. The system often fails to protect victims properly, and statements like “we take bullying seriously” end up being empty words when the same behaviour repeats over and over.
I do not condone this kind of behaviour in any way. As someone who was bullied myself, I know how deeply it affects a person — mentally, emotionally, and socially. I’ve heard the same promises from schools before, but nothing changes unless disciplinary action is swift, fair, and public enough to set an example.
So I encourage every parent: before enrolling your child, do proper, in-depth research. Ask the school how they handle bullying, what real actions are taken, how they support victims, and whether they hold students accountable equally — regardless of status or influence. Because words mean nothing without genuine accountability and protection for those who need it most.
Seeing reviews from former students from 2020! I REPEAT 2020 over this schools lack of accountability for bullying is disgusting

Bullying ,bullying, bullying this school condones bullying briint David’s ,chadley David’s ,jeremy Armstrong,Leo weber must pay, they must be expelled and sentenced!!!! This school supports bullying!
Five years of great education. Public schooling just does not get better than what Milnerton offers. Fantastic educators ready to help, great facilities, clean grounds, ever-renewing structures and friendly management. So many leadership opportunities, societies, sports and whatever else. Do not believe the woke who claim the school does not deal with challenges head-on - it does, big time, more than most others, but it does so in a professional manner aimed at protecting all stakeholders involved.
Truly diverse, welcoming all and having a space for everyone!
Sports are main focus, academics very valued.
If not interested in either, so many other options for societies and cultural activities that can be chosen - not true when someone says there are no options.
Definitely beat value for money school out there!
Dealt with bullying in the school. Although everyone says it doesn’t happen it very clearly does. The school cares only about their reputation. If you’re not extremely sporty or academic you fall in between the cracks. Lots of pressure put D class the “smart class” and I used to be in F class for my maths which was low at the point and some of the teachers said we’re getting no where and that we were stupid.
I had a tough situation and approached the administration for help. They did not act as they were supposed to, and instead tried to cover it up. While some of the teachers there are very good, the school itself has major issues with accountability and valuing its reputation over its students.
Love this school so much! There might be stuff on the media suggesting otherwise but Milnerton High has no bullying issues and you can call nearly anyone your friend. There are RCLs appointed per grade that are always willing to help and the teachers know what they're doing and keep everything in order. This school was always my family's first choice after all my 3 elder siblings attended. I can't suggest it more!!! Go Millies!!
