I regret putting my children at midrand high school, this school has destroyed my childre's spirit and excitement for academic and overall development. the teachers are mean Dikgasho is like a monster that kids have to endure regardless. whats worse is that the school is the only public school in midrand and we can't afford private schools. midrand higschool is a nightmare for kids.

Toxic environment
If you consider applying for a job at the school, save yourself from immense stress and anxiety and try your luck somewhere else. The environment at the school is toxic. Management is biased. As a teacher there you are made to see yourself as if you are useless. You are constantly threatened. The pay is not bad though but you don't enjoy working there at all.
Not enjoyable but needs a lot of improvement
The school has not made me happy compared to previous schools I've been to the teachers are biased and the school activities are little to nun but the teachers do try their best but are stoped by the school
For the good of your well-being, stay away
Biased principal,unfair management system and learning experience is horrible. Completely overrated. Get out while you can, that place will crush your spirit and devour your soul. In 2020 there was literally only 1 nice teacher. The overall environment feels toxic, and many learners and myself have had severe anxiety before having to enter the gates. It's not a comfortable environment for everyday teachers either, with several leaving every year. I've never seen anyone stay longer than 2 years, unless theyve sucked up to the principal and become toxic themselves.
