Lotus Gardens Secondary School

Lotus High is not that bad in terms on teachers. The school lacks hygiene and bathrooms are dirty. The curriculum may be harder but it's more challenging.

Lotus Gardens Secondary School but commonly known as Lotus High by learners is an okay school . The teachers there are good with learners atleast most of them . The school itself is not in a great condition but it's acceptable . Other than the poor disciplinary measures and the unhygienic toilets its a good school . It can sometimes be a very violent school since some of the learners abuse substances in and around the school . The school has tried to instill measures that would make the School more disciplined but without considering and accommodating the needs of students . This makes it difficult for learners to comply .

Lotus Gardens Secondary School is not a bad school per say but should improve first to earn the title of a good school. The school is not safe and learners are compromised to danger,regardless of whether it’s during school hours or not. There is poor access control,meaning just anyone can enter the school without first saying who they are and what they’ve come to do at the school. There is a code of conduct(apparently) but it has never been issued to the parents to sign so the learners/parents are not obliged to comply with any rules because they didn’t sign. There is a problem of learners drinking methylated spirit with soft drinks and smoking marijuana during school hours. There is also a problem of racism. The disciplinary measures they have are ineffective and majority of parents,since enrolling their kids at the school,have never met the principal who has never attended school meetings. There is little to no communication between teachers and parents,the school does not have sports facilities or an open and running library. There are no extracurricular activities. It is a dull school.
