Laerskool Van Dyk

Laerskool Van Dyk is a good school, but not entirely. Most of the teachers teaching is good but not all of them and some of the teachers behavior towards their students is extremely rude, they also don't watch the way they talk to learners. Laerskool Van Dyk says that, they treat their former learners equally but truth I'd they don't. RCLs and learners that participate in extracurricular activities get far more better treatment then the rest of the learners. The last time they did something for their learners that isn't done at the school was in 2022, and that was the last thing they really did that excited children. The learners deserve at least one trip/camp a year like other schools, and their excuse I'd not making rthem can't be that, the school isn't a private school because other public schools do such. And they can also take Netball,Hockey and Rugby players on tours and camps. It has been said that 2026 grade 7s won't be having their Farewell but only the RCLs and that's totally unacceptable. Children must be treated the same. As a parent that has two of my children schooling at Laerskool Van Dyk, it hurts knowing that this school is closing all chances of the children remembering their Primary years in such a horrible way.
