Laerskool Garsfontein

I would not recommend this school to anyone who loves their child.

My son is in grade 1 and is gets bullied daily by a multitude of kids, and the school does nothing to remedy the situation.

According to the other review, there are numerous teachers; however, these teachers also resort to bullying the kids, using fear, intimidation, and screaming as a teaching tool, and belittling them regarding their work. Telling them that they are not allowed to make any mistakes. Don't get me wrong, my kid gets perfect marks on his report, but it worries me that a teacher tells students that they are never allowed to make mistakes. I certainly do not raise my kid with that mindset.

Unfortunately, I have heard from multiple other parents who have had the same experience. Teachers and other kids are bullying their kids. And even when the situation was addressed, the parent was told that her child deserved to be bullied by the teacher because he had not listened to the teacher once, literally, just a single occasion.

My wife went to pick up our kid today, and older kids were sitting on the school grounds watching porn on their phones, some 7-year-olds were performing sexual movements on each other, and bragging about it to my wife. Other kids were bullying a kid on the rugby field, hitting him, tackling him, and hurting him.

This school is out of control. Please stay away. We are moving our kid as well.

My 2 children are in this excellent school this sport and acedemics are very good top notch a person cant say the bullying is bad but there is bullying in every single school the best teacher what I have greeted in this school from my sons school time for the next 3 years has been “Juffrou Kaeigleh” .
And for the price it is Excellent

Ons is ongelooflik tevrede met hierdie dinamiese, Christelike Laerskool vir ons 3 uiteenlopende kinders.

Garsies het ‘n reuse persooneelkorps wat betekende dat daar baie hande is om te help en om te gee. Die hoof en sy bestuurspan is toeganklik en deeglik. 90% van die onderwysers is werklik gedrewe om die kinders eerste te stel. Soos in slle aspekte van die lewe kom ons en ons kinders nie noodwendig met 10% van onderwysers klaar nie, maar dit bly ook ‘n goeie leerskool.

Daar is ‘n magdom geleenthede en jou kind sal verseker sy/haar plekkie kry.

Sport is kompeterend en geskied in ‘n goeie gees.

Fantastiese kultuur geleenthede, gedryf deur passievolle onderwyseresse.

Akademie is eerste prioriteit en daar word moeite gedoen met ekstra klasse en individuele aandag indien dit versoek word.

Hier word gebid, gelag en geleer!!

Laerskool Garsfontein is ‘n laerskool waar die hoof se deur oopstaan vir ouers en kinders!
Kinders word na die beste van hul (die skool) se vermoë geakkommodeer, ongeag finansiële en etniese agtergrond. Garsies bestaan uit 2000+ kinders en tog streef die onderwysers om kinders spesiaal en geliefd te laat voel binne ‘n baie georganiseerde struktuur. Vir so ‘n groot skool verloop dinge seepglad en bly hul kompeterend binne die Pretoria.
‘n Laerskool met ‘n hartklop!!! Garshand staan behoeftige kinders en gesinne by.

Ons is al vir 5 jaar gelukkige Garsie ouers!
