Best high school with dedicated teachers. The learners are disciplined and have good manners.

I attended KHS from 1970 to 1974. I still live 3 blocks from the school and often walk around the whole perimeter, and it is even better condition than when I was a pupil there, with lots of additions and upgrades!

I have been in this school for 5 years 2017- 2021 and my review will be based on all those years. In 2017 i joined the school and i mudt say i loved it. It was a great school the only problem were the bullies which u will find in every school. In 2018 the bullying got out of hand and i told my teacher i needed help they were now insulting me and all the teacher did was talk to the class abd that was it. Not only that even the years to come other students got harassed and bullied and the topic seemed to disappear into thin air with the bullies and assaulters still in the school. In 2019 Mrs Parsons told a student that she will not trust them unless they are RCL or Top 20 which i think is unreasonable and making some feel bad about themselves. In the same year Mr Skhosana introduced the DSSS. These people are rude and have nasty comments towards students and they say it to their faces. If you want your child to get insulted by adults at school then KHS (DSSS) is the perfect place. I feel they are useless and a waste of money for the school because it seems they laze around all day. In 2021 there has been a new rule installed that after a specific time or exams all learners are kicked out of the school yard and the gate is closed on us. It is not safe and anything could happen to us. Keep in mind sometimes matrics just wrote exams and instead of letting us stay near the gate to wait for transport we get kicked out including other grades. All the fun activities we had have been taken away it could be the pandemic but the matric privileges in 2021 have been taken away and it is unacceptable to blame covid as we see all around us on social media all other matrics around the country have found fun things to do while being safe. This school used to be amazing but not anymore i would not recommend sending your child to this school for their happiness. I apologise for any spelling mistakes.

I'm in grade 9 and so far I love the school it is a home away from home we always finish with work on time it has a 98% pass rate and I totally recommend it, it has so many sports to choose from a security team on campus th dsss you will see on the openday?and a cheap bookshop where you can biy everything you need for school and the tuckshop doneven get me started in my opinion the R30 wrap is the best of the lot see you soon khs ra ra ra

I am in khs and it is horrible. They leave the children outside the school gate. The children only speak about boys and it has 96% pass rate if you want a better high school go to Potchefstroom girl high

I would like to have a word with the teacher who systematically put me down because I was a newcomer. You were a bully. I will expose you. Despite you refusing to give me a reference, I’ve worked for international blue chip artists, you should never have been a teacher. Teachers should build up. Not down. Class 2001

Good school. Disregard for LGBT+ community tho. And only 1 or 2 sportsgets attention

Krugersdorp High School is a very good school. The school has got good grades, excellent teachers that are helpful and kind. I recommend KHS 100%.

Told my daughter in grade 8 to get over her younger brothers death a week after it happened. Will NEVER recommend KHS to any parent. No understanding, no sympathy. They couldn't care less about a childs mental, emotional and physical health. All they care about is if the win a sporting event or if the kids all have blazers on.
