Kloof High School

I'm really glad I chose Kloof High. The teachers are supportive and help us reach our full potential. The school's got a great atmosphere and the views are amazing. The only downside is the workload, but it's worth it in the end. Definitely recommend!

I'm absolutely delighted with Kloof High School! As a parent, it's been incredible to see my child thrive in such a supportive and inclusive environment. The teachers are passionate, dedicated, and truly invested in each student's success. The school's focus on academic excellence, combined with a wide range of extracurricular activities, has helped my child develop into a confident, well-rounded individual. The campus is beautiful, with modern facilities and a stunning setting. But what really sets Kloof High apart is the sense of community - from the friendly staff to the enthusiastic students, everyone feels welcome and valued. I feel grateful to have found a school that shares our family's values and provides such a fantastic education. If you're considering Kloof High for your child, I highly recommend it!

Ex pupil. I have a chronic illness that stops me from being able to do everyday things sometimes. I wont say specifics, but it is not a visible disability but it does cause physical pain nearly everyday. The school knew this before I joined but didnt bother to tell my teachers. They often thought I was trying to ditch class when I asked to go home due to the pain. I got given 0% on a few assignments due to the fact my disability made me unable to do it at that current time. The teachers were demeaning and straight up rude. They showed no empathy towards me and alot of other students. The teachers made cruel "jokes" to students. I couldnt last more than 6 months at that school due to the lack of respect and empathy.

The school is ridden with drugs and weapons like knives, which I have personally found many of both. The school never addresses issues within itself but trys to pin the blame on the parents and students. Many of the teachers don't do their jobs properly with lack of discipline over the students who are known well for disrupting the class. Some teachers give overloads of homework for their subject leaving you with a total of 4-6 hours of homework.The toilet facilities are very gender biased with females having far superior quality bathroom fixtures, and the boys bathrooms not even having soap or mirrors,while the girls bathrooms have granite sinks. "bullying is not tolerated" they say while doing nothing about kids being mocked or beaten up,but dont be fooled as soon as you fight back, then they have something to say to you! Overall, the worst school I've attended in my entire life. Even if I had to become a hobo on the streats i wouldn't even feel the slightest urge to be back in that school, and I dont suggest it to you or your children.

I've been with kloof for 4 years now It's my last year its good but the code of conduct needs to be changed it has some unnoticed racism Other than that the school is good and it has a great environment Funny People and entertaining hard working teachers
