J.g. Meiring Hoërskool

As a resident living right next to the school gate, and seeing and hearing the school kids every day I can say with certainty that I will NEVER send my own child to JG Meiring High. The learners are completely out of hand, and the very frequent fights in the streets and those you hear happening during break time are a true reflection of it. The school principal and administration are dismissive and quite frankly don't care at all when residents have something to say about the disgusting behaviour like the smoking openly everywhere around the school area the moment they set foot outside the gate, rowdy and terrible language, not to mention the number of kids jumping over the back fence to bunk every single day. As a parent, the school just has too many massive red flags. I would think that that's the reason for their massive educator turnover rate too. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. September 2023

The school is fine and all but it is not as welcoming to the black community most of the schools even the ones that were built during apartheid give you an opportunity to choose between Xhosa and Afrikaans but this school chooses for you because there are some learners who do not know Afrikaans but they are forced to do it other than that it is a nice school

I LOVE J.G MEIRING HIGH SCHOOL BECAUSE THEY ARE A GOOD EDUCATED SCHOOL

it's a well devolped school indeed there teaching system is amazing and they make it as interesting as possible
