No discipline or rules
There is no discipline or rules in the school. Children are disrespectful and entitled. They take video’s and photographs of the student teachers and other teachers as well. You cannot even have a discussion with the learners about their disrespect without them crying on purpose. There is no discipline and they are allowed to break the school down and yet, the teachers are in the wrong? Would not recommend this school at all. No school would survive without rules and discipline. This is very bad for the school and future learners.
The vibe is great
Hoërskool Zwartkop is an amazing school, with an amazing vibe and caring teachers. I really miss it there and wouldn't mind comming back

If you want a reason to overwhelm yourself and change your school loving self into a school hating mentally unstable anxiety pill junkie then this is the place. The schools vision and goals are pleasant but the paths to get to the goals are questionable. Crowded and overloaded places obviously lead to unexpected problems, just look at prisons- Old classes are used for more pupils instead of tearing then down when new ones are built. The headmaster is usually trying his best hiring but yet some lazy, verbally abusive awful teachers pop up who don't give a shit. About 68% of the teachers aren't willing to do their proper teacher duties and seem like they are only there to bully children, couldn't get the job they want or are more childish and gossipy than some cliques. If you want to choose on sport or drama ect. this is the school but academicly you would learn more sitting on your ass and studying a field yourself instead of wasting your time here.

this school honestly sucks , they treat the students so poorly . i would honestly not recommend it for kids . you get bullied all the time even fights where the kids hit eachother at break time and go to school the next day with blue eyes do not let your child suffer thats why i am home schooling next year !

Not the best school. Unless you are a teachers pet you are mostly treated poorly. People with mental health issues aren't excepted at all. My friend who has ADHD and self worth issues my art teacher told him to lay on hisarms as no one wants to see his face. My art work is being graded unfairly because I made a teacher aware of spinach in her teeth. For some this is a great school for others not so much. All I am saying is if your kids are more quiet or drawn back I wouldn't recommend this school they will disapear in the system. Alot of slut shaming going around towards people who really don't deserve it
Excellent, fantastic, amazing, wonderful School
Zwartkop is the best school that I know of. They have a great Zwarrie-vibe. As a matriculant at this school I am very sad to leave. The teachers are so kind. The headmaster is the absolute best headmaster in the whole world. He cares so deeply about his school children. He makes you feel like you are his own child. He has a very warm heart and I respect that man deeply. They have so many activities to take part in. They make you feel so welcome. All their traditions are heart warming. During lockdown they really came through for us. I love this school with all my heart and I am sad to let it go. Once a Zwarrie always a Zwarrie! I love you Hoërskool Zwartkop! You will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
A good place to be.
Hoërskool Zwartkop has become a sort of professional educational centre with very high standards when it comes to their personel and study material. The school itself is neat and offers a variety of sports and facilities to support these sports. Discipline and respect among the students and educators is ensured by a student friendly environment provided by the school management.

The school honestly sucks , there are some good teachers at this school but most of them are rude and disrespectful to the students. I would not recommend this school.

Hoërskool Zwartkop is an absolute Amazing school. The vibe, the sports and education is so good and I would love it for my kids to someday join the loving Zwarrie community.
All rounded school, the best
A well rounded high school where every child has the opportunity to shine. Sports and culture activities, along with other extra curricular activities had their place in the school. Academically the school is one of the best and praise is always given where praise is needed. An amazing, caring and active principle, attending all activities even during holidays or weekends.
