School or fund raising company?
Having two sons who have finished their schooling here, and a third one currently in Grade 11. I can honestly say I regret every moment my children have spent at this school Their focus is not on school it’s on sport and fund raising. Their focus is not where it should be and if you have a negative word to say, their approach is to ignore you and victimize your child, and even go to a point of blocking you from their social media page…how childish!

"Krag deur kennis" - n Werklikheid van Hoërskool Noordheuwel.
Knap Afrikaanse skool! Ek is tans in Graad 12. n Skool met standvastige waardes. In my ervaring, was daar min tot geen bullebakke. Die snoepwinkel se kos is uitstekend, maar wel bietjie duur. (Die noriebroodjie is n wenner!) Daar is verskeie buitemuurse aktiwiteite,soos visvang en fotografie. Die onderrig is van n buitengewone hoë gehalte en daar word beduidende klem geplaas op hulpbronne om akademiese vordering aan te moedig, soos ou vraestelle, werkkaarte en PowerPoints. Hygiene is a 0
Extremely unhygienic bathrooms! Pipes leaking, water splashes out of the flush when you flush the toilet. Very little to no toilet paper. No handles on doors. Doors do not close properly or get stuck. This cannot be healthy!

Rude teachers
Teachers are very rude. You pay lots of money and then in return you get rude people at the school

Money driven and Disrespectful!
It is really bad. Teachers disrespect students and abuse the teacher power. The school is based of your financial state. Only people with a good financial state has a say and thats the only time the school respects you.

Not Recommended
Very money driven,kids whos parents have money and sponsor the school get a lot more opportunities that normal students.Rather choose another highschool so glad im finishing this year not happy at all.

Excellent!!!
This school is excellent! They are strict on discipline. They help you to achieve your best. Noordheuwel feels like my second home. The teachers are really passionate about their jobs. They are very helpful towards the students. Bullying is almost non-existent. This school is organized and neat. They also have alot of "gees" I am glad that I chose Hoërskool Noordheuwel.
