Hoerskool Hans Moore is die beste Tegniese skool by verre! Baie goeie waardes en die skool staan regtig uit in Benoni. Baie, baie geluk met julle slaagsyfer van 100% vir die jaar 2025. Ons is voorwaar baie trots op julle Moories! Mag daar nog vele meer wees. Baie sterkte vir 2026 en gaan voluit in alles wat julle doen. Julle is wenners. Baie dankie ook vir Mnr. Mearns en sy wenspan wat agter hom staan. Sonder die personeel is dit nie moontlik nie. Sterkte Moories in alles wat julle doen in 2026!

Former Private School Students
It’s a good school but it’s shocking how a former private school student will not be allowed to join the school because they are apparently “spoon fed”

Hoërskool Hans Moore is, in my opinion, by far the best highschool in Benoni. Every student has the opportunity to take part and have fun. It is a school where memories are made and dreams are built. I had seen so many learners transver from other schools to HM and they have never been disappointed. If you want to be apart of a family and open doors to a brighter future, become a Moorie!

My daughter is currently on crutches due to a leg injury. Yesterday, while she was carefully trying to navigate the stairs at school, a boy (whose identity we unfortunately do not know) deliberately shoved her as if trying to make her fall down the stairs. Considering she is already injured and vulnerable, this type of behaviour is extremely dangerous and unacceptable.
Thankfully another girl nearby shouted at the boy and prevented the situation from escalating further. However, the fact that something like this can happen at school raises serious concerns about supervision, discipline, and student safety.
Schools should be environments where children feel safe, especially when they are injured and already struggling to move around. I sincerely hope the school takes incidents like this seriously and ensures that stronger discipline and supervision are in place to prevent something far worse from happening.
