Unsafe environment for kids
As a parent I would never recommend this school. The school is juvenile as kids are not protected and they are left to their own devices to protect themselves in an unsecure environment of violence via daily physical fights, guns, gangs and drugs. The school authorities and edu department are not involved and have no control on the environment.
The truth
Die burger is like every other highschool yet they do not have sport's nor classrooms that are clean to focus in the school is very much ventilated and half of it is not even in fiction
The learners are to do things at free will because of the influence of drugs,fights and bunking
The teachers are the point of what makes a school a school for learning but most teachers would basically sit with work to be given but most of he time just allow the children to do what they want
I personally think from a experienced learner in that school that it is dangerous and to be honest it is no different to any other school

Bad school ,all round
I've been in the school a few years now ,in the beginning it was okay ,there was sporting events every month and now ,its just wow , there's no more sports to keep the learners going ,thats why they end up doing drugs in their free time ,but personally ,I HATE HIGH SCHOOL DIE BURGER...
I suppose the school was/is okay
It's a good school, teachers are not bad but some of them used to hit us,the discipline is a bit bad now..the kids do drugs and Don't really stay by school rules that often anymore. And I went out of the school for a while due to fear of a teacher that tried doing something to me, the teacher eventually went out of the school and I felt a bit more comfortable about going back to school but they refused to take me back into the school,I asked them to please let me finish my schooling and I even explained the situation but they still refused and I do believe that I have the right to an education
Environment at Hoërskool Die Burger
Hoërskool Die Burger is a productive efucators are very supportive and give valuable information and various platforms to explore different learning techniques regardless of the limited resources it has produced alot of bight students and has brought enlightenment to the few that struggle sports is also being had as well and gifted individuals have been representing the school well but we would like extra resources such as projectors and infrastructure repairs
