Aaklig skool, moenie dit aan jou kind doen nie
Hoërskool Bastion is verskriklik BAD skool. Die underwater is verskriklik swaak en meeste van hulle is nie eers gekwalifiseer nie. Daar is sekerlik n handvol van hulle wat oulik,gaaf is. En dan is daar onderwyser wat net aaklig is. Soos juffrou Boshof, as jy kids om jou kind in hierdie skool te plaas. ASB moenie lat jou kind Rekeningkunde,Besigheid vat nie. Ook met die underwater weet net dat daar n 99% kans is dat die onderwysers n "affairs" sal he tydens skool tyd. En ook dat hulle met die 2020 se hoofseun sal getroued wees. Ook halfde van die tyd is daar nie n onderwyser in die klas nie. So asb moenie jou kind in hierdie skool class nie.

Bad education system.
Totally unexceptable. Kids have to learn from slide shows that does not give them change to learn or capture.it seems that teachers is not so into the fact to help the kids understand and pass. This is BS through and through. You ask the teacher to help regarding your kids. Flat ignore serious. And most of the time teachers not i. Class and we have to pay school fees for what!!!!! And why do we have to print out study material and pay school fees. Serious!!!!!!

Lack of communication and procedures
A serious lack of communication and procedures not followed. A typical 'cattle' school. Hiding behind the 'system' does not solve a problem. As in every government school there is staff that takes their job at heart while others sadly are demotivated.

Die boelies by die skool !!!!
Ek as n ouer is baie ongelukkig met die manier hoe die boelies by die skool weg kom en nie goed genoeg gestraf word nie en hou net aan om kinders te boelie. Maak n mense n klagte by die skool. Kry n ouer nie eers behoorlike antwoorde nie rond om die saak nie. Dit is boelies wat julle skool n slegte naam begin gee. Is tyd dat hulle die boelies uit die skool begin skors. Die boelies doen meer skade aan die kinders. Dadelik is die boelies nie daarom te Leer nie maar wel om ander kinders se skool lewe moeilik te maak in die skool.

Excellent school with great teachers and students. Good in sporting and cultural activities. a School with numeral subjects from Technical, Arts, Dance, Consumerstudies, to all academic subjects can be taken at Gr10 level.Happy child, happy mother
Don't go there
It's a great school with a good sense of whats right and whats wrong, but they have some trouble inforcing the rules. KIDS mostly rule the school. After the twining project. I won't put my kids in Bastion

The split up the genders and grades during assembly and break.They take away phones before school and you only get it back after school if it isn't stolen(it has happened before). Don't waste your time coming to a discriminating school who wont even allow you to socialise with all your friends.
