Hlengimpilo Full Service School

Ever since I have started teaching in this semi rural developing school. My life has changed alot. Hlengimpilo Full Service School is no ordinary primary school but an extraordinary school that does not only excel academily but in various sport codes as well. My school has won several awards including National Education Awards in 2017/2018 & 2019 for being the Best Improving Full Service School in the country and that won us position 2 in 2017, 2018 and 2019 indeed Hlengimpilo is expanding its horizon. As a teacher in this school I serve with a positive attitude because I understand that attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. As a school we teach with so much passion and enthusiasm because we understand that our learners will be the best future leaders. Hlengimpilo Full Service School is a Model C school serving the poor community of Umzinyathi with the best quality education because as a school, we understand that every child matters regardless of their differences, backgrounds and special needs they bring into the classroom and that makes us even more a special Full a service School. As a teacher in this goal-driven school led with so much vision, I understand that "Every child is a different kind of a flower together all makes a beautiful garden." By this, inclusion is practiced at all levels in ensuring all learners needs are catered for so that they also develop a sense of belonging during teaching and learning. The school is very accommodate and conducive for every kind of learners and additional support is offered at all levels. The major portfolio committees such as Learner Support, Whole School Evaluation and Educator Support are the main support system of our school in ensuring all the learners and teachers needs are catered, barriers addressed and working co-operatively in building future leaders. The school has disciplined learners that possess so much respect and humbleness to life because the values instilled at home are again drilled at school. Parental involment is highly encouraged and visible in the school because our parents understand that the school needs a very strong system to function adequately. Hlengimpilo is excelling and rising against all odds because to us we know that "Umuntu ngumuntu nabantu". In our school we do not only teach in an inclusive conducive environment but we also inspire for greatness.
