My child has been at Farrarmere for 7 years. He has never been the over achieving type, however every teacher and sport coach embrassed him with kindness . We have been incredibly blessed with supportive, nurturing teachers who always went the extra mile for my son. Farrarmere taught him to face adversity and rise above circumstances. I am forever grateful to the school for shaping strong values and discipline in my child. Without their commitment I would not have the confident young man I have today. Thank you FPS, you proved that every child matters. It's not about the badges and scrolls it's about preparing our children to go out into the world with confidence and resilience. Invictus 💙
My awesome child has Autism. I was so afraid that he would not fit in or not be made to feel welcome at FPS. the absolute opposite has happened for the past 3 years. He has had 100% support from his teacher every year. Dare I say, his teachers have gotten better and more supportive each year. they love and support him through every milestone and hurdle he has come across. The aftercare has equally been accommodating and kind through his every changing growth. He really loves being part of FPS and as a parent, I do too. His teachers are always a message away in times of crisis. For me the best part of FPS is seeing how happy the teachers and ground staff are, I believe that is why they are so kind and loving towards the children! This school is for everyone, from the athletes to the Chess players, the merits recognition to the SMILE Badge award. Thank you for making school a happy place
Farrarmere Primary IS NOT the best primary school in Ekhurhuleni
The most disgusting school. A principal who seriously has lost her passion and needs to retire! She is a sarcastic woman with no compassion.
Some teachers bully and victimise children and get away with it, year after year.
If you are not on the SGB, donating money to the school or sucking up, be assured your child will NOT be acknowledged.
Staff are unhappy, and it shows! Principal has her favourite Teachers!!
P.s. the kids receive merits for their parents votes for best school in Ekhuruleni, which means that its not a fair reflection on the achievement.
Seriously this school does more harm than good!
My child was accepted to this school - I provisionally accepted the request and delivered documents in case we decide to choose this school for my child. Only to get an extremely rude response from admin. Not appreciated!
I found the school to be very well run, I am posting this because I see there may be a single disgruntled person. The truth is the school has been around for more than 45 years and has seen tens of thousands of parents and children and 99% of parents are very happy with it, including me.
It's a government school and to run as well as it does as a public institution is very impressive. Staff are very caring and fabulous with the children.
Trying to get into this school for 3 years. Always say they full but I know people that have been accepted way after my application on who are out of the feeder zone but somehow know someone and they pulled strings. The admissions lady blocks you from ever seeing the principle. Like a cult.
