Consistent failure to take action
The management at Eden College Durban has been deeply disappointing. The current principal is not fit to be in a leadership position. She does not appear to be sufficiently involved or aware of what is happening within the school, and she consistently fails to take action in important situations. This lack of effective leadership has led to ongoing frustration within the school community.
Concerns Regarding Teaching Standards at Eden College Durban
Several members of the teaching staff do not show the level of knowledge, preparation, or teaching skill needed to provide learners with a high standard of education. In some cases, there seems to be a lack of effort and commitment. Lessons are not always well prepared, feedback is often limited, and little extra support is offered to ensure that learners understand the work.

As a learner from Eden College, I have to say that Eden is a safe space where we are allowed to freely express ourselves. The school provides a safe environment where learners can take up interesting extra curricular and become members of student groups whose values they uphold. Everyone at Eden is family. With this said, Eden College boasts with an excellent academic record and the school was the named the Best School in South Africa for two consecutive years.
Eden is a school every learner would like to attend because we have a diverse student body that makes the school a well rounded place and excellent teaching staff who are always willing to help you overcome any academic challenge.
