Apartheid never ended
They do not want to appoint coloured teachers. Still old school and predominantly white.

Fake facade as perfect school??
De Kuilen has well trained staff who teach the learners very well. However, with regards to bullying they won't even help you the tiniest bit. There was this case where people were fat-shaming this girl and when the teachers were informed about it they simply said "ok".Not very 'we don't tolerate bullying' of you? Homophobia is very present at DKPS although now its more subtle then it use to be 3 yrs ago but I think it's because of people changing their mindsets and how they view the lgbtq+. A few years ago there was also a boy who would get beat regularly and when we told our teacher about it he did nothing about it. It's an excellent school for educational purposes but not so much mental health.
