Daniel Pienaar Tech High School

Besides it's reputation as South Africa's oldest technical school it's staff are primarily power tripping curs, more focus is given to preserving its reputation rather than providing an actual education. Pass rates have been dropping drastically for two decades and instances of physical and sexual assault are more and more common each year. The school is known to threaten legal action when it's reputation is under duress so that may be the best sign to avoid enrollment. Facilities are atrocious from garbage strewn classrooms and shoddy desks with loose seats and protruding nails to broken down technical classrooms. In terms of safety students have been mugged by other students outside the school and at worst threatened on school grounds by gang affiliated learners with knives. The school provides paid lockers for about 50 students instead of designing it's curriculum to avoid students carrying workbooks and textbooks for up to seven subjects a day leading to backpacks being over filled and breaking.

The school is great it's the place to be, the teachers are great they try their best to make sure every kid in school does their best in their academics.
