This school is a toxic environment for learning and self development. Students compete with each other on who has the highest grades instead of focusing on self improvement by competing with oneself. It's always "Let's study hard and try to beat number one".The competition is toxic, it drains you because you end up thinking that you're not smart just because you did not receive a distinction. Praise is always given to students appearing on the top ten board and disregard those who work so hard to get good grades, even if they didn't appear on the top ten board.
