The current principal (2021) is terrible and frequently goes on power trips, deciding things on whims and having us all deal with the consequences. The grades keepbon getting lower and all they do is keep giving us more work. Some kids can't even stay at school for the 8 hours (8AM-4PM) due to transport issues but the school barely does anything to accomodate them. Previously this wasn't an issue but they've recently added an extra hour to the school day. The requests of the students are never heard and we have to fight to get anything done, no matter how small it is. Some of the teachers are great but there are too many that give constant problems (some academic and some personal) to the learners that the school does nothing about no matter how many people have complained about them over the years.

I attended Cape Academy for 3 years, and those were by far, the worst 3 years of my life. I was bullied all 3 years and matters were never taken seriously by anybody. You might just think this is my experience but when my brother started attending he was the victim of a fight and nothing happened to the kids responsible. The principal believes that praying and asking Jesus Christ for help will make everything better. There is also no help or intervention for students struggling and they are simply just left behind. There are also no extra mural activities. Please do not make the horrendous mistake of sending your child to this school.

This is one of the most welcoming and friendly school I have seen. It help one to develop self-esteem. It non judgmental school, it respect each other's values and what each person's belief. The staff and learner work together to create a safe and comfortable environment of learning for all. Teacher work not to their on benefit but for the love of school and the learners. All that they want for all is excellent.
