Failure of Supervision and Communication at Bugz4life Pre-school
I am writing this review to warn other parents and grandparents about a severe lapse in supervision and duty of care at Bugx4life School.
My young granddaughter suffered a total of four separate biting injuries while under the school's supervision. This included a serious bite injury to her face.
Failure of Supervision and Communication
The school staff, including her teachers and the principal, never reported these assaults to my family. We discovered the extent of these injuries ourselves.
It is unacceptable that four separate incidents of physical assault, resulting in visible injuries, could occur without a single teacher or staff member intervening or notifying the parents. This raises grave concerns about:
1. Teacher Awareness and Supervision: It is highly improbable that multiple instances of this severe bullying were not witnessed by staff.
2. Accountability: The staff's silence suggests a failure to uphold their duty of care and an attempt to cover up a serious pattern of aggressive behavior on school grounds.
Regrettable Omission
I now deeply regret not immediately filing a formal police report regarding these assaults at the time they occurred.
Conclusion: I urge the school administration to review its protocols on bullying, mandatory reporting, and staff supervision. If they cannot ensure the physical safety of their students and choose to claim "ignorance" regarding serious injuries, they should not be entrusted with childcare. Parents, please proceed with extreme caution.
