Ghosting culture allowed

My daughter was badly bullied here. She was recruited by the “ in” group from the English side of the school to the Afrikaans side of the school. She excelled in everything from academics to sport. As soon as she got too much light and stole the light from the the girls whose parents are on the SGB , and the elite of the school, the parents started encouraging their kids to “work” my kid out. This is not the first time that this practice was used by parents in this school. The parents instigate kids to isolate and exclude these kids. They don’t get invited to parties and are ghosted. Even if you complain and seek assistance, it is ignored as these parents carry a lot of weight at the school. It’s extremely sick. This culture of ghosting is a method used by parents and their kids to get you and your child to leave the school. The parent/s also get ignored and isolated at sport events etc. The culture is extremely sick. You are either part of the “in “group , your kid plays A -teams and 1st team or , or your kid is a nobody. Should your kid not be part of the “elite” they may get ghosted should they achieve too much. The parents will go to any length ,and I mean any length to push you out of the school. Sadly the SGB has corrupt members who benefit from their positions and thus you don’t get any form of support upon complaining. Should you complain your kid will carry the consequences and get pushed from an A team to a B team for instance. Your kid becomes a nobody once they decide that you should be socially excluded. I have spoken to a couple of parents who have the same problem and even parents who have taken their kids out of the school due to this culture. Extremely unhealthy for the psychological well-being of some kids.

Happy parent

Excellent focus on academics and teachers are dedicated and passionate. Not just in the classroom, but also on the sport field. Team spirit is encouraged and children are passionate about the team they play in. The love for the sport is taught and BPMS. In the classrooms they encourage independence and accountability for the students.

Pre primary

It was felt my child was picked on and not taken into consideration my daughter is strong willed.I got threatened many times my child will get expelled. When I approached them to say I am the client and I'm not happy I got told I am not their client.
I needed to give a months notice and decided my child will not attend in that last month considering the way I was not understood and cared for as the Client paying them for a service.

Average school

The school has good teachers but there are alot of students with no respect and that are rude, they don't have the best system when it comes to bullying and if you are not in one of the first few teams of a sport you will have no chance of playing or learning the sport.
