Experience

So far it has been good and not that bad I would say its boring referring to childhood related experience but after all that's how school should be

Not a good school

Nobody really cares about you there, all they care about is you handing in the work
You're not considered important unless you're clever and
Some teachers are racist they make fun of other students then cover it up as a joke, swear alot etc.
Learners are disrespectful, highly disrespectful they do as they please and the bullying there is just unexplainable,
learners start to have suicidal thoughts because they can't bear being treated like nothing
I'd really not recommend it as a good school for your child.

What about our mental health?

In all honesty Brebner high isn't so great , they don't care about their learners' mental health , the only thing they care about is money

Take your child there at your own risk

If you want a school that is only focused on academics and nothing else. You should definitely go to Brebner. You only wear casual wear one or twice a year(not counting the June exam because we are too caught up in our books to even think about casual wear). Some teachers are racist. The only sport that gets attention is soccer. The rest the principal doesn't really care.

My experience

Great school to put your child in to learn basic skills, like independents and confidence and many more including sports and great decision making life changing decisions

Worst school in SA

Honestly Brebner high school is the worst school to place your children in, simply because your children will never get the opportunity to properly grow and discover their talents because there are no extra murals and the headmaster really doesn’t care about any other sports besides soccer and as far as I’m concerned a school that has a lot of activities allows your children to fully find themselves not just academically but also personally. So why would you put your child in a school were only academics are the only thing that’s considered as important??

Also the segregation in the school is insane, only school monitors and rcl’s receive benefits like school camps and trips. And school camps and trips are what help the school to have a bond and builds the schools culture but how is that gonna happen when only the “Kings & Queens” are the only ones who get that??

Wonderful and excellent school

It is a good and wonderful school full of love and kindness. As I walk around the school grounds it's always clean and we'll maintained.a school where GOD is put at the front of everything they do.
