Al-Azhar Is The Best School 100%
The teachers are always willing to help the learners. The learners are very welcoming to new learners and teachers. This is a secured and safe environment. This is definitely the beast school 100%.

Just Average
We have been with the school for a few years now. I would say it is average. The quality of education is no better than a public school, and since they recycle teachers quite often, the consistency of education is up and down. They also have a current Math teacher that should have retired years ago but the school seems to be beholden to him. One thing I can say is that the principal takes no nonsense, and disciplinary action is swift and precise, they take no seconds when it comes to breaking...

School fees
To whom it may concern, This is extremely frustrating, I made a payment for my sons school fees on Sunday 05/03/2023, and requested that i get a receipt for the payment, and up until today i have not even received an acknowledgment. This is very concerning and unprofessional. PS: When the exams starts, children will threatened about non-payment of schools and wont be able to write exams. pathetic service. Very concerned Parent

Disrespect for the dignity and honor of students.
As a former student, I have experienced my fair share of mishaps and incidents. As wonderful as the school may be, the current Principal of the school is the issue. As much as he promotes a “safe and friendly environment for your children”, when there’s a moment where you’re alone with your parent and him, because of something you and a friend did wrong, he feels the need to disrespect the dignity and honor of the other students. Immortality Lessons of Success
Al-Azhar High School shows that there is no difference between secular and Islamic knowledge. It is a school that confidently strives for excellence through the holistic development of each and every student. The school disciplinary action is correctly aligned with Islamic Law. It is a school of endless possibilities - it’s limits are determined by its’ students. Al-Azhar High School , an institute in connection with Al-Azhar University Cairo, Egypt, has exceeded academic standards. It has shared and usurped the spot light in many well known academic competitions ( UCT Math Olympiad, Business Studies Comp WC, Eisteddfods) . Al-Azhar has also maintained high pass rates succeeding many other pre-eminent schools in Western Cape, with a 100% pass rate in 2018. Extra-curricular opportunities are mediocreat Al-Azhar but ,with its enthusiastic teachers, and principal, can reach higher levels. Chess, Outreach, Sport and many other activities are available! As a proclaimed Islamic school, annual Quran readathons and Islamic festivities are held. Prayer is upheld and many other Islamic opportunities are available.Arabic, is a subject taught among others Islamic subjects ( Fiqh, Tougheed).It is a DBE approved subject that is credited for at Universities and other Tertiary institutions. Physical Science, Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy, History, Computer Application And Technology (CAT), Life Science, Accounting, Business Studies are other available subjects. Al-Azhar High School Teaching board has not failed in quality. The school is made up of highly qualified teachers whom dedicate their effort and time to each student present. A “catered” form of excellent education.The smaller class capacities, top notch equipment, classrooms, laboratories and facilities adds value to its’ education. Al-Azhar High School is homely. An essence of true belongingness is felt by the warm environment. There would be no regret in sending your child to Al-Azhar High School! The school’s motto echoes excellence. R. E. D. A.
