Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool

From a student perspective, I have never been exposed to such a useless education system in my life. I was not prepared adequately for adulthood at all. There was not once made mention that I was going to need to work for an income. There was not once made mention I was going to need to buy myself a house. These are the fundamentals of being an adult, which I feel has been totally neglected. I feel sorry for young girls being sent out into the real world with this type of naïve preparation. Despite earning the best marks in my class I was not even accepted for an appropriate university degree. This school ruined my life and I regret attending it for five years. Their focus on enforcing the Christian religion is also very unsettling as it can cloud young learners' minds with religious wolly bolly and keep them from being present in reality, with real consequences, for real actions.

Akademies is dit n fantastiese skool. Sport gewys tel net die A spanne en die beste atlete. En behoed jou as jy nie in die netbal hoof se favourite groepie is nie... jy sal nie eers die A span ruik nie. Die hoof is fantasties en baie lief vir die kinders. Van die meisies is goed opgeleide boelies, is netvop doek na aandag en kan nie genoeg van seuns oorkant die pad kry nie. Glad nie dames nie.Die jonger meisies is die ergste en doen nie veel vir die beeld van die skool nie. Die netbal ma's is die ergste. As jou dogter nie n super sport ster is nie gaan sy verdwyn in die skool.

This school help with academical and sports but no life skills. I’ve reached out to so many of the teacher in my school about how I’m struggling with mental health and they don’t care one of the even said just don’t jump of the 3rd floor the school can’t handle that. We have +- 12 girls in mental rehab centers. If you care about your child’s mental health don’t send them here
