The Truth about Sastri College
Sastri College as an establishment is entitled to being a Highschool with academic and creative excellence at it's forefront however being a former student I do have to say Sastri College isn't the school it says it is. Opening day orientation sets up a wonderfull , non - chalant feel around the school yet not showcasing the dirty , graffiti covered , mosquito infested , sewage draining classrooms of the F block area , the main area starting out Grade 8's are situated in. Most facilities such as the science labs and hall rooms showcased on opening days with very limited resources , are only at use for the Grade 10 and 11 students. Funding for the school is not evenly disrupted , rather than new books , fans , airconditioning systems and more , distribution goes to gates that give a sense of imprisonment to the learners. Arts and Creativity are not recognised in students , musically inclined students such as myself are pushed aside and not recognised for their talents. Choir and Dance classes are not present and not taken seriously by authority figures in the school. Food served at the school tuckshops are either distasteful and/or stale to most , no hotdogs or lunch meals are served rather small unappetizing pies. The principal Mr Rajcoomar totally isolates himself from learners not giving advice or recognising any of the students. Sastri College might have history but at the state of lies and deceit they show to newcomers of it's establishment being a " grand highschool of academic and creative intelligence " is all just a ruse , a facade as you would say , where the sheer wonder and amazement of everything goes to die. Please let's stand up for our children. #truthaboutsastri.

Its a good school.just a few things that needs to be sorted. Academically the school has fairly good results.handling bullying and fights at school is not so good

Great Sastri College
Sastri College is a great school.The teachers are also great and respect their students as they respect them.Its the same with the principal.The principal works hard to make Sastri College a better school everyday.
Sastri College's school fee is affordable and every cent you spenf is worth it.
So I think it would be a great idea to send your child to this school for their whole high school years😗

Sastri College Academic Excellence
The school has great teachers that help students perform their best and motivate the learners to never give up. Classes are not over crowded. The school has a high academic standard which learners stick to so they can perform at their very best.
