My daughter gets bullied daily, getting locked in the bathroom by other children. She reported it to the teacher and got told she is the bully (mind you she is very small) she is scarred to go to school now. When she doesn't fell well I don't get called, my daughter just has to drink water to feel better. Her absence is sent to the Department of Education, which I understand, but if you can't send your child to school what should you do?? She was 3 weeks there and we already had problems with the school.
My Grade 2 son's teacher had the audacity to tell me to teach him to write more neatly...Uhm is that not the job of the teachers?
My Grade 4 daughter's teachers cannot commit to intervention/extra classes because of sport. So long as the child just barely passes it seems to be fine, because hey they are still passing.
No help, no communication, no dedication to the education of children and no prioritizing of helping those that are in desperate need.
To be honest I find Impala to be a disgrace to the educational system, and the damage they have done to my kids through their negligence is inexcusable.
My friend’s son is in grade 5 and has been bullied since the beginning of this year. He’s been pinned to walls and fences by 4-5 boys and hit constantly. Parents have gone to school but the school does nothing about this the whole year. Laerskool Impala is going to have a “13 Reasons Why” reputation. This school is NO WHERE close to a 5/5. It sickens me!!!!!!
Its a great school and i have been there myself for school my only problem i had it was that scuber bully is very wild there and they dont always stop bullies my brother is now gr 2 there and he comes home crying about bullies some teacher are to hard on the little ones (gr 1-4) and dont help them with their mistakes they will rather shout on them and all they need to do is talk to them and earn their trust and then handle the problem .
