Terrible. Firstly sexist, the amount of assemblys I've endured hearing how a woman should dress and behave is such 1900 women oppression behavior. Not to mention the evident homophobia and overall discrimination. None of these kids are dealt with for being sexist, homophobic or any other of their disgusting qualities. They aren't lectured on things that matter, instead are lectured on how to dress. Seriously, how does me having a fringe or wearing a bun affect any aspect of my school life. Keep in mind i graduated with all A's. Another example of the prominent sexism is how the girls are not allowed to wearing stockings unless it is the months of May,June, July. Yes, a girl is sent home for literally covering up. Especially on cold days when the weather gets below 20°C a girl could get sent home to change. How does that make sense ? I've personally had this happen to me. Not to mention the teachers who seem even less educated than the students. I had a teacher lecture a grade 8 impressionable class, full of young boys and girl, tell them how a woman's place is the kitchen and men who help with household chores are not real men. When I tried to tell another teacher it got pushed under the carpet so as not to "cause problems within the staff". Overall would never recommend. I have horrific memories of the place but for me the sexism was most evident (among the heavy drug use and fights breaking out). Academics were focused on but most of the teachers weren't of any good, only a handful actually knew what they were doing.
Crossmoor secondary school is amazing... With awesome teachers and a very good principal... But there are students in the school that make a it a unpleasant place.. these are the smokers... We have boys standing outside the school every morning and afternoon... Smoking weed and acting like they won the road.. this gives parents a very bad impression of the school.. there is a tuckshop on our school road.. its name is MANACKS they sell cigarettes to the kids and it's just wrong... They are problem as well... But despite all of that Crossmoor is an amazing school with excellent staff and 95 percent of the kids are great...
This school is horrible it has drugs ,dagga and cigeretes flooding this school including the behavior of teachers.....iv heard of a incident were a child was called being dumb and other words in an egd lesson because they did not understand the work....what nonsense is that we do not send our kids to school so they can be told harmful words and ,I've heard of teachers hitting the kids this is totally unprofessional and just down right wrong to students.....this has to change fast ....teachers should not touch another person's child and should not tell them harmful stuff this is ridiculous and horrible.... would not recommend this School to anyone school is horrible and teachers as well
Crossmoor secondary school is an amazing school with awesome teachers ...but...the use of dagga ,drugs and cigeretes have become very high in the school...it's embarrassing going to school and seeing these drug addicts outside acting all cool when they not ...they are just stupid idiots poisoning the minds of innocent kids.....and there is a tuck shop on that school road that sells cigeretes to the kids....this has to come to an end so our kids can have a safe environment at school...I have also heard of incidents were a child was hit by an educater this is utter nonsense we don't send our kids to school so they can get a hit these teachers have no right to hot our kids and have no right to speak at them in a angry tone....I heard of a egd teacher insulting a learner cos he did not understand their work that is totally wrong....would like to see a better attitude from teachers towards learner's and a safe healthy environment
